HOW CREDITS WORK

One credit per call.
Heavy endpoints cost more.

Most endpoints (scrape, extract, intel, DNS, SEO audits) are 1 credit. A few that do real work — premium proxy fetches, audit orchestrators, BrightData-routed intel — cost 3-5 credits each. Failed calls are refunded automatically.

Pricing, plainly.

What is a credit?

One credit = one API call. Most endpoints are 1 credit. A handful cost 3 or 5 (see the table above). You see the exact cost in the response of every call.

What happens if a call fails?

You don't pay. Failed calls (status: error) are refunded automatically — the credit goes straight back to your balance, and we log the refund event so you can audit.

Do unused credits roll over?

The Free tier's 1,000 credits are a one-time signup grant — they don't refresh. Paid plans auto-topup monthly to your plan's allotment (we set balance to MAX(current_balance, plan_allotment) — you don't lose what you didn't use).

Can I cap spend?

Yes. Set hard caps in the dashboard per workspace or per agent. Once you hit the cap, calls return 402 instead of charging. No surprise invoices.

What's the request-per-minute limit for?

Plan-based rate limiting — a token bucket that refills continuously. Free is 10 req/min, Starter 30, Pro 60, Business 120, Enterprise 300. Independent from credits, applies even within your monthly allotment.

Why are Bright Data endpoints more expensive?

Sites like Amazon, Yelp, and Glassdoor are hard to scrape reliably. We route those through Bright Data's residential network — it costs us money, so we pass it through at 5 credits per call. Everything we self-host stays at 1 credit.

What payment methods do you accept?
